Key Responsibilities: Develop and deliver tailored instructional programs to meet the unique needs of deaf and hard of hearing students Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student social, emotional, and academic growth Provide training and guidance to staff and families on effective communication techniques Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with educational guidelines Qualifications and Experience: Certification or licensure in Deaf Education or related fields Proven experience teaching students who are deaf or hard of hearing across K-12 grade levels Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) highly preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt instruction to diverse learning styles and abilities Location: Littleton, Colorado This contract position spans the current school year and offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on the education and development of students with hearing impairments.
