Key Responsibilities: Deliver specialized instruction tailored to students who are deaf or hard of hearing, across all K-12 grade levels Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and collaborate with families, support staff, and administration to meet student needs Utilize appropriate assistive technologies and communication strategies to enhance learning outcomes Monitor student progress, adjust instructional plans, and maintain detailed records in alignment with district and state guidelines Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and growth Qualifications: Valid teaching certification with endorsement in Deaf / Hard of Hearing education or a related specialty Proven experience working with students who are deaf or hard of hearing, preferably within a public school setting Strong knowledge of communication methods such as American Sign Language (ASL), auditory-oral approach, or other relevant strategies Excellent collaboration and communication skills to effectively partner with multidisciplinary teams Commitment to student-centered instruction and promoting accessibility in all learning activities Location: Greeley, Colorado Duration: Full School Year contract This position offers a meaningful opportunity to contribute to the success and development of students with unique communication needs.
