A K-12 Special Education teaching opportunity is available in New Haven, CT, for the upcoming school year. This contract position offers the chance to work with diverse student populations who have multiple special education needs. Placement may be at one of two nearby locations, with consideration given to existing candidate experience to identify the best caseload fit.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement IEPs (Individualized Education Programs). Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly. Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with families and educational staff. Support inclusive classroom environments and foster student engagement. Desired Experience and Qualifications: Valid Special Education teaching certification. Experience working with students who have diverse special education needs across multiple age groups. Ability to adapt instruction to meet the unique learning profiles of students. Strong organizational and communication skills. Collaborative approach to working with educators, therapists, and families. Location: New Haven, CT, with potential placements at nearby locations in Cromwell or Manchester, CT. Contract Duration: Current School Year (CSY).
