This opportunity is seeking dedicated Special Education Teachers to support elementary students with Autism and other developmental disabilities. Key Responsibilities: Deliver individualized instruction tailored to students unique learning needs Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement IEPs (Individualized Education Programs) Monitor and document student progress regularly Utilize evidence-based strategies to support communication, social, and academic development Maintain a safe, engaging, and supportive classroom environment Communicate effectively with families and caregivers to promote student success Qualifications and Desired Experience: Valid Special Education certification/licensure Experience working with students who have Autism and developmental disabilities preferred Strong classroom management skills within small group settings Ability to create individualized lesson plans and adapt curriculum as needed Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning atmosphere Location: Cranston, Rhode Island onsite placement only This full-time contract position aligns with the upcoming 24-25 school year, offering direct involvement with a small group of elementary students requiring specialized instruction. Three openings are available, providing an excellent opportunity to make a tangible difference in students educational journeys.
