A full-time Special Education Teacher position is available to work onsite in an elementary school setting in Providence, RI. This role involves providing educational support to students with Autism and other developmental disabilities, with each classroom serving 8-12 students. There are three openings for this position for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year.

Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students with Autism and developmental disabilities Manage classrooms with 8-12 students, creating a supportive and engaging learning environment Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including therapists, counselors, and administrative staff to support student progress Monitor and document student progress, adapting teaching strategies to meet individual needs Maintain compliance with special education regulations and school policies Qualifications: Valid Special Education teaching certification Experience working with children with Autism and developmental disabilities Strong classroom management skills in an elementary setting Ability to develop and implement individualized instructional plans Excellent communication and collaboration skills Location and Schedule: Providence, Rhode Island Onsite, full-time position School year: 2024-2025 (24-25 school year) Interview Availability: Wednesday: 10:00 AM 1:00 PM Thursday: 11:00 AM 12:00 PM Qualified candidates looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of students with special needs are encouraged to apply.
