A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide therapy services for K-12 students in a dynamic school setting located in West Hartford, CT. This contract position spans the current school year (CSY), offering an opportunity to impact the communication skills of 25-30 students with the support of an SLPA.

Key Qualifications and Experience: Certification as an SLP with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) Experience in healthcare and pediatric speech-language pathology Background working within school environments Familiarity managing students with cochlear implants Ability to collaborate effectively with supportive staff such as Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) Primary Responsibilities: Deliver individual and group speech therapy services adhering to established treatment plans and goals. Support approximately 25-30 students across grades K-12. Work closely with an SLPA to enhance therapy outcomes. Manage caseload without feeding or medically fragile students. Maintain current practices regarding assistive communication devices, with consideration for future updates based on student needs. Work Schedule and Environment: Approximately 30 hours per week Contract position for the duration of the school year Engaged in a well-established school environment serving a diverse student population This role is well-suited for SLP professionals dedicated to fostering students communication development while working alongside a supportive team.
