A Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) position is available for the 2025-2026 school year in an elementary school setting located in Burney, CA. This contract role runs from August 18th through June 5th and involves in-person work Monday through Friday with students from PreK through 6th grade.

In this role, the SLPA supports the licensed Speech-Language Pathologist by delivering tailored intervention services to students with speech-language disorders. Responsibilities include implementing individualized interventions, assisting with assessments and scoring, obtaining case histories, collaborating with educators and parents, attending meetings such as IEP conferences, and preparing documentation to support student goals. Transportation of students between testing and therapy areas is also required. Qualifications and desired experience for this role include: Active Speech Language Pathologist Assistant license Bachelors Degree in Speech, Language and Hearing or Communication Disorders Previous experience working in a school setting or as a paraprofessional preferred Training or experience in language and/or articulation therapy preferred Strong communication skills including active listening and clear, two-way communication Ability to collaborate effectively, maintain a positive attitude, and adapt to new strategies and techniques Benefits of this position include competitive pay rates, comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage, participation in a 401(k) plan, travel stipends for eligible candidates, and guaranteed hours encompassing both direct and indirect services.
