A Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) is needed for the 2025-2026 school year at an elementary school in Shingletown, CA. This contract position runs from August 18th to June 5th, with a Monday through Friday, full-time schedule. The role is in-person and involves working with PreK through 6th-grade students.

Responsibilities include supporting the supervising Speech Language Pathologist by delivering tailored intervention services to students with speech-language disorders. The assistant will help implement individualized programs, assist in assessments, administer and score tests, attend IEP meetings, and communicate effectively with students, parents, teachers, and other professionals. Additional duties include preparing documentation and transporting students as needed. Qualifications: Active Speech Language Pathologist Assistant license Bachelors Degree in Speech, Language and Hearing or Communication Disorders Experience in a school setting or as a paraprofessional preferred Training or experience in language and articulation therapy preferred Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively Positive attitude and willingness to learn and apply new techniques Benefits of this opportunity include a competitive pay rate, comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits, 401(k) plan, travel stipends for eligible candidates, and guaranteed hours for direct and indirect services.
