Key Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive science instruction to 6th-12th grade students, focusing on Earth, Physical Science, and Biology Incorporate technology tools and resources to enhance classroom learning and student engagement Manage a caseload of 8-12 students, with some classes as small as 4-5 depending on course Facilitate a positive and safe classroom climate with a focus on individualized student needs Participate in ongoing professional development, including certification in Violence Intervention and Prevention (VIP) training designed to build de-escalation skills and safe restraint practices Qualifications: Certification or eligibility to teach General Education Science Ability to integrate technology into instructional practices effectively Strong classroom management and communication skills Willingness to become VIP-certified through in-house training, emphasizing student safety and de-escalation Experience working with diverse learners and sensitive educational settings preferred Schedule & Location: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM Calendar follows standard school year schedule Position located in Park City, Montana This role offers the opportunity to teach in an environment that supports approximately 160-170 students in a Day Treatment and Residential program.
