An educational opportunity is available for a certified General Education Science teacher to support students in grades 6 through 12. This position involves instructing Earth and Physical Science, as well as Biology, with an emphasis on integrating technology into classroom teaching. The role is contract to hire and aligned with the school calendar, providing a structured Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Collaborating with educators across diverse subjects, including VoAg, Woodworking, PE, Art, Music, Business Education, Technology, Social Studies, Mathematics, Special Education, and English. Supporting students in a Day Treatment and Residential setting, requiring a compassionate and patient approach. Qualifications and desired experience: Certification in General Education with a focus on Science. Strong skills in technology integration within the curriculum. Willingness to complete certification in Violence Intervention and Prevention (VIP), which emphasizes de-escalation techniques and safe restraint protocols when necessary. Experience or interest in working with students in therapeutic or alternative educational settings is an asset. Location: Shepherd, Montana This position is part of a learning environment serving approximately 160-170 students in a specialized setting, where educators play a pivotal role in both academic and social development.
