An opportunity is available for a full-time Occupational Therapist or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide services in a K-12 school setting from September through October. This is a leave contract position located in Burlington, MA.
A variety of soft skills and experience may be required for the following role Please ensure you check the overview below carefully. Responsibilities: Deliver occupational therapy services to students with diverse needs across grades K-12. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focusing on the developmental and functional goals of each student. Collaborate with educators, families, and school staff to support student progress and behavioral management. Address and manage severe behavioral challenges effectively within the therapy sessions. Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies. Qualifications: Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA). Experience working with students exhibiting severe behavioral challenges is required. Ability to work independently within the school environment. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Availability to work approximately 7:45 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. Location: Burlington, Massachusetts This contract position offers the chance to support students during an essential leave period.
