A position is available for an Intervention Specialist to support students with special needs in a K-2 setting within a K-12 school environment. This role requires dedication to fostering an inclusive classroom where students with autism and developmental disabilities receive tailored instruction and care.

The caseload includes up to 12 students, typically around 8, who participate primarily in a cross-categorical resource room. Students spend most of their day in this supportive setting, occasionally joining peers for specials. Assistance is provided by at least one paraprofessional to enhance instructional delivery. Key responsibilities include: Managing daily classroom operations and implementing individualized lesson plans Developing, writing, and updating Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Monitoring student progress and preparing quarterly reports Conducting and participating in IEP meetings to ensure compliance and effective communication Collaborating with paraprofessionals to create a positive learning environment Desired qualifications and experience: Certification and experience as a Special Education Teacher or Intervention Specialist Experience working with students diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders or developmental disabilities Strong skills in lesson planning, IEP development, and progress monitoring Effective communication and organizational abilities to manage IEP meetings and documentation Ability to work collaboratively with support staff and families to promote student success This opportunity is based in the Dublin, OH area and requires immediate availability.
