This Special Education teaching opportunity in Southeastern Minnesota offers a rewarding contract position supporting middle school students in grades 7 and 8. Based in the Harmony area, the role focuses on delivering tailored instruction to a small, diverse group of 14 students with varying disabilities within a K-12 school setting.

Support students across federal settings, including 10 in Setting 1 (resource), 3 in Setting 2, and 1 in Setting 3 (more intensive support). Foster development in academic skills as well as social and organizational skill-building. Collaborate with educational teams to adapt and implement individualized education programs (IEPs). Utilize flexible scheduling options, selecting a preferred workday between 7:30 AM and 4:00 PM. Qualifications: Minnesota Special Education teaching license is required. Experience working with middle school students and familiarity with federal setting classifications. Ability to manage a self-contained and resource classroom environment effectively. Strong skills in differentiated instruction and behavior management. Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive educational atmosphere. Location: Harmony, Minnesota (Southeastern MN), with teaching duties extending in the Preston area.
