Director of Capital Formation | Real Estate A real estate investment firm is seeking a Director of Capital Formation to lead the firm's capital-raising efforts across institutional, family office, and high-net-worth investor channels. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing fundraising strategies, cultivating investor relationships, and managing the capital formation process for new and existing real estate funds and investment vehicles. Base pay range
250,000.00 / yr - $250,000.00 / yr Responsibilities
Develop and implement a comprehensive capital formation strategy aligned with the firm's growth objectives. Build and maintain relationships with institutional investors, wealth managers, family offices, and other capital partners. Lead fundraising efforts for new funds, co-investments, and separate accounts. Collaborate with senior leadership to structure investment offerings and marketing materials. Represent the firm at industry conferences, investor meetings, and roadshows. Oversee investor due diligence processes and manage data room materials. Provide regular updates to internal stakeholders on fundraising progress and investor feedback. Qualifications
8+ years of experience in capital raising, investor relations, or investment banking, preferably within real estate or private equity. Proven track record of raising capital from institutional and/or HNW investors. Deep understanding of real estate investment structures, fund formation, and capital markets. Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred. Seniority
