Manager, Emerging Technology/AI Products Scrum Master/Release Manager KPMG US Hybrid work opportunity. KPMG US is seeking a Manager, Scrum Master/Release Manager to join the Digital Nexus technology organization. Responsibilities

Help grow a collaborative and continuously improving engineering culture; teach and serve as an example to the team of Scrum and agile values and principles; coach and give feedback to individuals (including senior leadership) and teams; facilitate Scrum Events as a Scrum Master or Release Train Engineer, and take ownership for feature release coordination of KPMG Emerging Technology products Deliver effective conflict resolution between individuals and teams with an assertive but friendly attitude; provide effective methods and practices for managing and resolving impediments Act as an expert in estimation and planning techniques; explain and teach release planning in an empirical environment; clarify the differences between various Scrum Scaling frameworks and approaches Advocate for modern agile software development and organizational practices, such as XP, CI/CD, DevOps, TDD, and more; automate flow of project status and facilitate continuous and real-time transparency for effective communication, support and decision making Assist with coaching and training individuals, teams, and programs to clarify goals, break anti-patterns and implement plans to achieve stronger results; utilize different agile techniques to improve development team efficiency Provide scaling expertise to align multiple agile teams, collaborate and facilitate planning with large groups, coach product owners on managing scaled product backlogs of epics and features, facilitate decision making with product owners and architects; mentor a product owner in backlog creation, management, and refinement; demonstrate techniques for managing team interruptions and protecting the team in a sprint; work beyond team boundaries to improve efficiencies, flow of work, and value delivered Qualifications

Minimum five years of recent experience with multiple agile approaches (Scrum, Kanban, XP, SAFe, Lean, and more); ability to adapt the approach to fit team and product environment Bachelor's degree preferred; practitioner level certifications (PSM II/CSP) preferred Deep expertise in helping teams build trust, safety, and effective communication Proven track record in facilitating, coaching, and mentoring teams and leaders in agility to rapidly deliver high-impact software Experience with full software development lifecycle and advocating for modern agile practices; technical experience developing software, portfolio planning, and/or business experience; experience with agile tools and scaling across multiple teams is a plus Excellent visualization skills; ability to explain visuals and demonstrate system-level thinking to impact program dynamics Strong verbal/written communication; ability to interact with individuals at all levels; ability to prioritize, delegate and foster high-performance teams; strong troubleshooting and multi-project management skills Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship now or in the future KPMG is an equal opportunity employer.
