An opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support K-12 students within a school setting. This contract position focuses on providing speech and language assistance throughout the academic school year.

Key Responsibilities: Implement speech and language intervention plans developed by licensed speech-language pathologists Assist students with communication disorders to improve articulation, fluency, and social communication skills Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school policies Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to support individualized education plans (IEPs) Participate in team meetings and contribute to speech therapy program goals Qualifications and Experience: Valid SLPA certification or licensure as required by the state Experience working with children in an educational environment, preferably K-12 Ability to follow therapy protocols under the supervision of a speech-language pathologist Strong communication skills and professionalism when interacting with students and staff Commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment Location:This contract role is located in Lacey, Washington, serving students across elementary, middle, and high school levels.
