A dynamic opportunity is available for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide essential support services within a school setting during the current school year. This contract position is based in Grand Prairie, TX, with assignments potentially spanning multiple campuses, including elementary, middle, and high schools.

Key Responsibilities: Deliver individualized occupational therapy assistance to students under the supervision of licensed OTs. Collaborate closely with 2-3 occupational therapists who have high caseloads to ensure comprehensive support coverage. Adapt therapeutic activities to meet diverse student needs across various grade levels. Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and therapy regulations. Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of intervention strategies. Preferred Qualifications: Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA). Previous experience working in a school environment is highly desirable. Ability to manage caseloads across different educational stages (elementary through high school). Strong communication skills and teamwork orientation. Flexibility to work up to 40 hours per week during the contract period. Location: Grand Prairie, TX, with assignments at multiple campuses.
