A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the 20252026 school year at an elementary Early Childhood Center located in East Saint Louis, IL. This role focuses on providing specialized speech and language services to children ages 35, supporting their development during critical early learning stages.

Key Responsibilities: Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in young children. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each childs needs. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and educational staff to support childrens progress. Monitor and document student performance and adjust therapy approaches accordingly. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to individualized education plans (IEPs). Qualifications: Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP). Experience or coursework related to pediatric speech-language pathology. Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred or demonstrated competence. Familiarity with delivering services in school and healthcare or pediatric settings. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for early childhood education. Position Details: Contract duration: 20252026 school year (mid-August 2025 through late May 2026, dates subject to final school calendar). Full-time schedule from 8:30 AM to 3:40 PM, Monday through Friday. Location is a single-site Early Childhood Center specializing in ages 35. This opportunity is ideal for an SLP dedicated to fostering foundational communication skills in young learners within a collaborative and supportive educational environment.
