A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the 2025-2026 school year, providing services to students in grades 7 through 12. Key Qualifications and Experience: Valid California Speech-Language Pathologist credential (SLPA credentials not accepted) Experience in pediatric and school-based speech therapy preferred Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) strongly desired Hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or equivalent Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 55 students effectively Familiarity with healthcare standards and pediatric SLP practices Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive speech and language evaluations and direct therapy services to students Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) aligned with student needs Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student communication goals Document progress and maintain accurate records Participate in meetings, trainings, and professional development activities Work Schedule and Location Details: 7 hours per day; typical schedules may include 8:00 AM3:00 PM, 8:30 AM3:30 PM, or 8:45 AM3:45 PM, depending on school site assignment Contract dates run from July 28, 2025, to May 29, 2026 On-site presence is required; in-person candidates only This role requires passing a LiveScan background check and successful completion of an interview process.
