Qualifications and Experience: Current California credential for Speech-Language Pathologist required (SLPA not accepted) Valid SLP certifications including CCC, healthcare, pediatrics, CFY, or school-based experience are highly valuable Experience working with school-aged children, preferably middle and high school students Ability to manage a caseload independently and develop individualized treatment plans Strong interpersonal communication and collaboration skills for working with staff, students, and families Responsibilities: Conduct evaluations, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders in students Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district policies Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success Participate in meetings and professional development as required by the district Work Schedule: Typical working hours vary by site but generally fall within: 8:00 AM 3:00 PM 8:30 AM 3:30 PM 8:45 AM 3:45 PM Contract runs from July 28 to May 29, 2026 (School Year 2025-2026) Role requires in-person attendance; remote candidates will not be considered This opportunity is ideal for credentialed SLPs ready to contribute their skills to an educational environment supporting adolescent learners. Candidates must pass an interview and LiveScan clearance to be eligible.
