A K-12 school is seeking a skilled School Psychologist to support the academic, social, and emotional development of students throughout the school year. This contract position will be based in Gonzales, LA, and involves working closely with educators, parents, and administration to provide comprehensive psychological services.

Key Responsibilities: Conduct psychological assessments to identify students' learning needs and challenges Develop and implement intervention strategies to support student success Collaborate with teachers and staff to create individualized education plans (IEPs) Provide counseling and crisis intervention as necessary Assist with the development of school-wide initiatives promoting mental health and positive behavior Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations Qualifications and Experience: Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology Licensed or certified as a School Psychologist in the state of Louisiana or eligibility for certification Experience working within K-12 educational settings Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and educational law Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Location: Gonzales, Louisiana This contract opportunity offers the chance to contribute to a supportive and inclusive school environment, enhancing student wellbeing and academic achievement.
