Position Overview
As a remote Special Education Teacher, you'll work directly with students who have various learning differences and disabilities. Our comprehensive virtual platform enables you to provide personalized instruction while maintaining the individualized approach that makes special education so impactful. Teaching Responsibilities Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Deliver engaging virtual instruction across multiple disability categories Create modified curricula and adaptive learning materials Conduct assessments and monitor student progress Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including therapists and counselors Maintain detailed documentation for compliance purposes Student Population
You'll serve students across elementary, middle, and high school levels with autism spectrum disorders, intellectual disabilities, learning disabilities, and other health impairments. Our platform supports various instructional models from supplemental support to intensive intervention services. Required Qualifications Master's degree in Special Education Valid Ohio special education teaching license Minimum 2 years of direct special education experience Experience with virtual or distance learning platforms preferred Strong technology skills and adaptability to new digital tools Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Virtual Teaching Excellence
