Mid-Level Associate Attorney (Civil Litigation) – Hybrid
Morrison Mahoney LLP is excited to add a mid-level Associate Attorney to its growing litigation team. We are looking for an associate with 4-6 years of civil litigation experience who is ready to take on real responsibility, meaningful mentorship, and opportunities for growth within the firm. You will be involved in drafting motions, attending depositions, and trial preparation, with the tools and trust to sharpen your skills and make a measurable impact.
Responsibilities
Work on a wide range of complex civil litigation cases, including products liability, construction disputes, commercial and business litigation, trucking and vehicular liability defense, employment and labor law, and medical malpractice defense.
Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery; meet critical deadlines; and drive matters forward from start to finish.
Prepare for and participate in depositions, hearings, and trials; develop litigation strategies with partners and clients; communicate status and strategic guidance to clients.
Conduct focused legal research and draft memoranda; collaborate with colleagues on high-value matters.
Contribute to case strategy and work closely with clients, experts, and firm teams to advance matters.
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school and admission to the Massachusetts State Bar.
4-6 years of civil litigation experience; familiarity with Massachusetts state and federal courts.
Experience taking and defending depositions and leading discovery.
Self-starter with strong advocacy skills, ability to draft and argue dispositive motions, and proficient legal research abilities.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary range: $140,000 – $155,000 per year
