As a civil litigation Associate Attorney at Morrison Mahoney LLP, your role is dynamic and engaging, offering a perfect mix of independent responsibilities and collaborative teamwork. You will manage your own caseload from inception to resolution, drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery requests while meticulously adhering to deadlines. Your days will be enriched by preparing for and attending depositions, hearings, and trials, granting you invaluable courtroom experience. Collaboration is crucial in this role, where you\u2019ll engage closely with clients, experts, and fellow attorneys to devise effective litigation strategies. Clear and regular communication with clients will be essential, as you provide them with updates and interim status reports on their cases. Additionally, you\u2019ll conduct in-depth legal research, preparing memoranda to bolster case strategies, while working alongside partners and senior attorneys to ensure seamless case management. Responsibilities

Manage own caseload from inception to resolution. Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery requests; meet deadlines. Prepare for and attend depositions, hearings, and trials. Collaborate with clients, experts, and attorneys to devise litigation strategies. Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda. Take and defend fact witness and expert depositions. Qualifications

Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school and admission to the Massachusetts State Bar. At least one (1) year of civil litigation experience; experience in Massachusetts state and federal courts. Self-starter with strong advocacy skills; proficient in drafting and arguing dispositive motions; capable of legal research and responding to discovery. Attention to detail and effective communication; ability to take and defend depositions. Employment type
