Work 35-37.5 hours weekly supporting approximately 22-28 students across various grade levels in virtual learning environments. You'll interpret for core academic subjects, specialized classes, and educational meetings while maintaining the highest standards of professional service. Our interpreters are essential team members in creating inclusive educational experiences. Key Responsibilities Deliver real-time ASL interpretation during live virtual instruction Support assessment accommodations and standardized testing procedures Participate in IEP development and review meetings via video conference Assist with social skills development and peer interactions Provide interpretation for virtual parent nights and school events Document interpretation services and maintain accurate records Coordinate with educational staff to address student-specific needs Essential Qualifications Current 3.5 EIPA score (Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment) 2+ years of professional interpreting experience in educational settings Demonstrated competency in ASL and simultaneous interpretation Proficiency with video conferencing and educational technology platforms Strong ethical standards and professional judgment Excellent visual presentation and communication abilities Preferred Credentials 4.0 EIPA certification achievement Written EIPA assessment completion RID/NIC certification with written examination component Experience working with students across age ranges Background in special education or related support services Home Workspace Requirements HD webcam with adjustable mounting capabilities Professional lighting equipment for consistent visibility Quiet workspace with controlled background environment High-speed internet with reliable connectivity Updated computer system with current software applications Backup power source for uninterrupted service If interested, apply here or contact: Daniela Jimenez 470-516-6256
