Seeking Teachers for the Visually Impaired to support K-12 students in a school setting located in Fremont, CA. This contract position is available for the upcoming school year (CSY) and requires specialists skilled in educating students with visual impairments to foster independence and academic success.

Responsibilities: Develop and deliver individualized educational plans tailored to students with visual impairments Provide instruction using specialized techniques and assistive technology to enhance learning Assess student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly Collaborate with classroom teachers, families, and support staff to create an inclusive learning environment Maintain records and documentation of student performance and interventions Qualifications: Certification or licensure in teaching students with visual impairments Experience working with K-12 students who are blind or visually impaired Knowledge of orientation and mobility instruction, braille, and low vision aids Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to work effectively in a diverse educational setting Location: Fremont, California This contract offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working within a dedicated educational community.
