Key Responsibilities: Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and develop behavior intervention plans (BIPs). Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to implement effective behavioral strategies. Provide direct support and interventions for students exhibiting challenging behaviors. Monitor student progress and adjust plans as necessary to meet individual needs. Train and coach school staff in behavior management techniques and best practices. Maintain accurate documentation and data tracking for behavior-related services. Desired Qualifications and Experience: Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education, Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis, or a related field. Certification or experience as a Behavior Specialist or Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) preferred. Strong knowledge of behavioral assessment methods and positive intervention strategies. Proven ability to work collaboratively with students, families, and school personnel. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Experience in a K-12 educational setting is highly desirable.
