A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the upcoming school year in a supportive Illinois middle school setting. This role focuses on providing comprehensive speech and language therapy services within a low incidence program, working closely with students, educators, and families to enhance communication skills and support academic success.

Key Responsibilities: Deliver direct speech and language therapy to middle school students Manage a caseload of approximately 20 students in a low incidence program Conduct assessments and develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Maintain documentation to ensure compliance with education regulations Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families in multidisciplinary team meetings Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to interdisciplinary discussions Utilize evidence-based practices to promote student progress Qualifications: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Active Illinois SLP license required Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFs) considered Experience working with middle school students and/or low incidence populations preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a team Position Details: Full-time schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 3:40 p.m. Contract spans the upcoming school year Located in a supportive Illinois school district This opportunity offers the chance to make a direct impact on student development within a collaborative educational environment.
