A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in a middle school setting in Melrose Park, Illinois. This opportunity supports students in a low incidence program and offers a collaborative environment focused on student success throughout the school year.

Responsibilities: Provide direct speech and language therapy services to middle school students Manage a caseload of approximately 20 students within a low incidence program Conduct thorough assessments, develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and maintain all compliance documentation Collaborate closely with educators, support staff, and families to address student communication needs Participate actively in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions Use evidence-based practices to support and enhance student outcomes Qualifications: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Active Illinois SLP license required Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFs) are welcome to apply Experience with middle school students and/or low incidence populations is preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting Additional Details: Full-time schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 3:40 PM Contract duration: School year Location: Melrose Park, Illinois This position offers an excellent environment to impact student communication skills significantly.
