Role Description

We seek a passionate Special Education Teacher to provide virtual services to students in the Portsmouth area. This remote position offers the opportunity to utilize innovative educational technology while delivering high-quality, individualized instruction to students with diverse learning needs from the convenience of your home office. Students with learning disabilities, autism, emotional disturbances, and intellectual disabilities Essential Duties

Instruction & Curriculum Design individualized education programs that address unique student learning profiles Deliver engaging virtual lessons using interactive technology and multimedia resources Modify general education curriculum to meet individual student needs and abilities Implement evidence-based interventions for academic and behavioral goals Progress Monitoring Conduct regular assessments to measure student growth and goal attainment Collect and analyze performance data to guide instructional decision-making Prepare comprehensive progress reports for IEP teams and families Adjust teaching strategies based on ongoing assessment results Communication & Collaboration Host virtual IEP meetings with families and educational team members Provide regular updates to parents regarding student progress and home support strategies Collaborate with general education teachers to ensure successful inclusion practices Work with related service providers to coordinate comprehensive student support plans Minimum Requirements

Educational Background Master's degree in Special Education, Learning Disabilities, or closely related field Current New Hampshire special education teaching license in good standing Minimum 2 years of direct experience teaching students with disabilities in school environments Knowledge of evidence-based practices in special education instruction Technology Proficiency Competence with virtual learning platforms and video conferencing tools Ability to create and adapt digital instructional materials Experience with progress monitoring software and data management systems Capacity to provide basic technical assistance to students and families Professional Skills Outstanding communication abilities for virtual parent conferences and team meetings Strong problem-solving skills for adapting instruction to online environments Excellent organizational capabilities for managing remote caseload responsibilities Commitment to maintaining student confidentiality and data security Virtual Teaching Excellence
