A full-time, contract position is available for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support a high school caseload in a K-12 school setting located in Redwood City, CA. This opportunity is onsite and spans the full school year, providing an engaging environment to apply your expertise in behavioral interventions and support.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and develop Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) tailored to individual student needs.
Collaborate closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective behavioral strategies and promote student success.
Provide ongoing supervision and training to paraprofessionals and other staff working with students requiring behavioral support.
Collect and analyze data to monitor progress and adjust interventions accordingly.
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student education plans to support behavioral goals.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
Valid BCBA certification.
Experience working within a K-12 educational environment, particularly with high school students.
Strong knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and best practices.
Ability to manage a full high school caseload effectively.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
