A K-12 educational setting in Martin, TN, is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide in-person services to preschool and kindergarten students. Key Responsibilities: Deliver direct speech and language therapy to preschool and kindergarten students. Conduct evaluations, assessments, and progress monitoring aligned with individualized education plans (IEPs). Collaborate with educators and families to support student communication goals. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and student progress. Participate in planning and professional development within scheduled work hours. Qualifications: Certification in speech-language pathology (SLP-CCC preferred) or current licensure as an SLP or SLPA. Experience working with pediatric populations, especially in early childhood or school settings. Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is acceptable for SLP candidates. Strong communication skills and the ability to engage young children effectively. Commitment to providing in-person therapy services; teletherapy is not applicable for this role. Details and Benefits: Location: Milan Elementary School, 1100 Middle Rd, Milan, TN 38358. Work Schedule: Four days per week, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., including a 30-minute lunch and designated time for planning and assessments. Caseload: Approximately 30 to 35 students in pre-kindergarten and kindergarten. Contract Length: Immediate start with a commitment through the 2025-2026 school year, with potential for extension. This role emphasizes hands-on therapy with young children in a supportive school environment.
