A contract opportunity is available for a skilled Sign Language Interpreter to support communication needs within a high school setting in the Bethlehem area, PA. This position offers a 6.5-hour workday from Monday through Friday, totaling 32.5 hours weekly, beginning ASAP through the end of the school year.

Qualifications and requirements: Must hold either a 3.5 EIPA (Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment) rating or certification through the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID). Ability to obtain the following clearances prior to assignment, with priority given to candidates who already possess these:
ACT 168 Form (valid for 5 years) ACT 126 Form - Mandated Reporter (valid for 5 years) Pennsylvania Child Abuse Clearance (valid for 5 years) Pennsylvania Fingerprints under ACT 114 (results to be submitted upon receipt, valid for 5 years) Tuberculosis (TB) test clearance PATCH background check (payment required, valid for 1 year) Arrest and Conviction Report (valid for 5 years)
