Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' fine motor, visual-motor, sensory processing, self-regulation, and daily living abilities. Design and implement individualized therapy plans and goals within the framework of the Individualized Education Program (IEP). Provide direct occupational therapy services and consult with teachers in classroom, small group, or individual formats. Collaborate with educators to integrate developmentally appropriate strategies into daily classroom routines. Monitor, document, and report progress toward IEP goals following state and federal compliance standards. Participate in evaluations, eligibility determinations, IEP meetings, and transition planning. Partner with parents and guardians to encourage skill development in home and community settings. Promote student autonomy and access to curriculum and learning environments. Qualifications: Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Valid state license as an Occupational Therapist and/or NBCOT registration. Certification through the State Department of Education as required for school practice. Experience working with early childhood populations, particularly those with developmental delays or disabilities. Strong knowledge of sensory integration, motor development, and play-based interventions. Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills. Preferred Experience and Skills: Familiarity with IDEA, early childhood special education, and inclusive classroom models. Experience with assistive technology and adaptive equipment in preschool settings. Bilingual abilities are advantageous. Background in school-based or pediatric occupational therapy preferred.
