A full-time or part-time School Psychologist opportunity is available for the upcoming school year in a dynamic K-12 educational setting in Ephrata, WA. This contract position offers flexibility in scheduling, supporting either a full-time commitment or a few days a week, depending on your availability and preferences.

The school year begins on August 27, providing a structured timeline to prepare for and engage with students. As a School Psychologist, you will manage a caseload of approximately 32 students, within a district serving 3,350 students of whom 344 qualify for special education services. You will work closely alongside one BCBA, offering critical support to students and staff. Responsibilities include overseeing Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), developing and supporting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), and providing paraeducator support for the most challenging student cases. Key responsibilities: Conduct evaluations and assessments to support special education eligibility and intervention planning Collaborate with educators, parents, and related service providers to develop and implement effective behavioral and academic supports Supervise and mentor RBTs in delivering consistent, evidence-based behavioral interventions Write and analyze FBAs and BIPs, ensuring tailored strategies for students with behavioral challenges Support paraeducators by providing guidance on intervention techniques and student engagement strategies Qualifications and desired skills: Masters degree or higher in School Psychology State licensure or certification as a School Psychologist Experience in K-12 school settings with special education populations Knowledge of behavior analysis, FBA/BIP development, and intervention strategies Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and families Flexibility to attend occasional meetings outside regular school hours This position offers an impactful opportunity to contribute to student success in a supportive district environment.
