Key Responsibilities: Provide specialized instruction through push-in and pull-out resource support for 10-15 students Teach Early Childhood Special Education focusing on developmental milestones and individual learning plans Manage ISEC (Instructional Special Education) classes consisting of approximately 10-13 students, adapting curriculum to meet diverse learner needs Lead Structured Learning Classes (SLC), catering to 6-8 students with varied learning abilities Deliver Educational Life Skills (ELS) instruction, emphasizing practical skills and independence for 6-8 students Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design, implement, and assess individualized education programs (IEPs) Monitor student progress and communicate effectively with families and staff to support student growth Qualifications: Valid Special Education teaching certification Experience with resource, push-in, and pull-out special education models Ability to work with diverse age groups, including early childhood, elementary, and secondary levels Strong classroom management and differentiated instruction skills Compassionate, patient, and committed to student-centered learning Location: Arlington Heights, IL Duration: Full semester contract This opportunity is ideal for educators passionate about making a tangible difference in the lives of students requiring specialized instructional support.
