A K-12 elementary school in Aurora, IL, is seeking a dedicated .5 FTE Social Worker for the 2025-2026 school year on a contract basis. This position requires an energetic professional able to engage directly with students, families, and school staff to provide essential social work services within the school setting.

Collaborate with teachers, families, and community resources to develop intervention plans. Provide individual and group counseling to address issues such as bullying, family challenges, and mental health concerns. Facilitate referrals to external agencies and monitor student progress. Maintain thorough documentation and comply with school policies and confidentiality guidelines. Attend relevant meetings and contribute to the schools multidisciplinary team efforts. Qualifications: Licensed Social Worker with a background in school social work or related fields. Experience working with elementary-aged children in a school environment. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively with diverse populations. Commitment to providing services in person during school hours; remote work is not applicable. Location: Aurora, Illinois, at one of the designated elementary schools. This contract position offers the opportunity to positively influence student success and well-being within a collaborative school community.
