An opportunity is available for a dedicated 1st Grade Special Education Teacher to support students in an elementary school setting in Brooklyn, NY. This position is a full school year contract, focusing on providing tailored educational support to 15-20 students with diverse learning needs.

Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for a caseload of 15-20 first-grade students. Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with district and state guidelines. Foster a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere that promotes student growth and independence. Desired Qualifications: Valid New York State Special Education K-12 certification. Proven ability to manage and instruct a classroom of young learners with special needs. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Commitment to student-centered teaching and continuous professional development. Location: Elementary school in Brooklyn, NY. Contract Details: Full School Year (CSY) contract.
