This full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) position is based onsite at a K-12 school in Jersey City, NJ, for the contract year spanning September through June 2025. The role involves delivering comprehensive school health services to support student well-being within an educational environment.

Key Responsibilities: Conduct physical examinations, immunizations, and screening tests for hearing and vision. Coordinate closely with the supervising Registered Nurse to ensure cohesive healthcare delivery. Provide individualized 1:1 care as required for students with specific health needs. Maintain accurate and up-to-date cumulative health records on all students. Administer first aid following established protocols. Offer guidance to teachers regarding student health matters to promote a safe and healthy school environment. Qualifications and Experience: Current and valid LPN/LVN license. Experience working in school health settings or pediatric care is preferred. Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Strong organizational skills to manage health records accurately. Excellent communication skills to collaborate with staff and support student health education. This position requires a commitment to a full 40-hour workweek onsite, with placement at a designated school location. Candidates with preferences for particular school sites are encouraged to indicate them during the application process.
