Key responsibilities include: Providing targeted intervention and instruction to a social-emotional caseload of approximately six students Collaborating closely with Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) assigned to the classroom Working alongside a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement behavior plans and monitor progress Developing individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs and goals Maintaining detailed records and communicating effectively with school staff and families Creating a supportive and inclusive classroom climate that fosters student growth and self-regulation Desired qualifications and experience: Valid teaching certification in Special Education, preferably with experience in high school settings Knowledge of social-emotional learning strategies and behavior intervention techniques Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including BCBAs and RBTs Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Commitment to enhancing student outcomes through evidence-based practices This contract offers a meaningful way to impact students during the school year while working within a supportive educational team structure.
