Maintain confidentiality and follow ethical standards relevant to sign language interpretation. Adapt interpreting style to meet the needs of individual students and varying classroom environments. Qualifications and Experience: Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and a deep understanding of deaf culture. Prior experience interpreting in K-12 educational settings preferred. Knowledge of educational terminology and school protocols. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively within a team and adapt to dynamic classroom situations. Valid certification in sign language interpretation is a plus.
