We're seeking an experienced school psychologist to join our growing team of remote education professionals, providing essential psychological services to students in virtual learning environments across Kentucky. Role Overview
This remote position offers 36 hours per week supporting students from preschool through high school in virtual educational settings. You'll manage a diverse caseload of approximately 50 students, delivering comprehensive psychological services including assessments, interventions, and crisis support through secure digital platforms designed specifically for educational environments. Primary Responsibilities
Comprehensive Assessment Services Conduct virtual psychological and psychoeducational evaluations Administer standardized assessments using digital platforms Complete detailed evaluation reports with evidence-based recommendations Participate in virtual eligibility and IEP meetings with educational teams Mental Health & Behavioral Support Provide individual and small group counseling via secure video sessions Implement behavioral intervention plans in virtual learning environments Support students experiencing emotional and social challenges Deliver crisis intervention services following established protocols Educational Consultation Collaborate with virtual teachers on student accommodation needs Provide professional development on mental health topics Support Response to Intervention (RTI) processes Assist with positive behavior support plan development Documentation & Compliance Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic systems Ensure compliance with FERPA, HIPAA, and state regulations Complete progress monitoring and data collection activities Prepare reports for due process and legal proceedings when needed Qualification Requirements
Educational Background Master's degree in School Psychology or closely related field Active Kentucky school psychologist license required Minimum 2 years of school-based psychological services experience Virtual or telehealth service experience strongly preferred Technical Requirements High-speed internet connection with backup options Quiet, private workspace suitable for confidential sessions Proficiency with video conferencing and assessment software Strong problem-solving skills for technology troubleshooting Professional Competencies Expertise in psychological assessment and intervention Strong written and verbal communication skills Knowledge of special education law and procedures Ability to work independently while maintaining team collaboration Work Environment Benefits
