We're seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to provide comprehensive mental health and educational support services for students in virtual learning environments. Serve 45-55 students across multiple grade levels through virtual platforms, working 35-37.5 hours per week to provide specialized psychological services. You'll conduct evaluations, deliver therapeutic interventions, and work collaboratively with educational teams to support student mental health needs and academic performance. Our school psychologists play a vital role in identifying and addressing the complex interplay between emotional wellbeing and educational achievement. Key Service Areas Comprehensive psychological assessments using validated virtual administration protocols Individual therapy sessions addressing student anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, and adjustment concerns Group counseling services focusing on social skills development, emotional regulation, and peer support Behavioral consultation and classroom management support for teachers and educational staff Parent education and family support services delivered through secure virtual meetings Crisis response protocols and safety planning for students experiencing mental health emergencies Data collection and progress monitoring for behavioral and academic intervention effectiveness Specialized Assessment Services Cognitive ability testing and intellectual disability evaluations Academic achievement assessments and learning disability identification Autism spectrum disorder diagnostic evaluations and programming recommendations Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder comprehensive assessments Functional behavior assessments and positive behavior intervention planning Social-emotional screening and mental health risk assessment Post-secondary transition evaluations and career readiness planning Essential Requirements Master's degree in School Psychology from NASP-approved or equivalent program Current Kentucky school psychologist certification or ability to obtain state licensure 2+ years of professional experience in school-based psychological service delivery Competency in virtual assessment administration and teletherapy ethical practices Strong knowledge of child development, psychopathology, and evidence-based interventions Ability to work independently while maintaining effective collaborative relationships with educational teams Additional Desired Qualifications Educational Specialist (Ed.S.) degree in School Psychology Experience with response to intervention (RTI) and multi-tiered systems of support Training in cognitive-behavioral therapy and solution-focused brief therapy approaches Knowledge of substance abuse prevention and early intervention strategies Experience serving students with complex trauma histories and family system challenges Remote Work Infrastructure Professional-grade video equipment for secure virtual sessions and family meetings HIPAA-compliant technology setup with appropriate privacy safeguards and data security Dedicated home office space suitable for confidential psychological services High-speed internet connection with reliable connectivity for real-time service delivery Current assessment software licenses and digital evaluation platforms If interested, apply here or contact: Daniela Jimenez 470-516-6256
