A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available at an elementary school located in Tuscaloosa, AL, serving PreK through 5th grade students. This in-person contract position runs during the current school year (CSY) and offers a structured Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 3:15 PM.

Key Responsibilities: Provide direct speech and language therapy services primarily for students with Speech-Language Impairment (SLI), focusing on articulation and language needs. Manage a direct caseload of approximately 31 students and serve as the primary related service provider for an additional 48 students with other identified disabilities such as Autism, Specific Learning Disability (SLD), Other Health Impairment (OHI), Hearing Impairment (HI), and more. Collaborate effectively with another SLP who provides onsite support one day per week, ensuring team-based care and consistency in service delivery. Maintain accurate documentation and progress reporting for all caseload students. Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educators and school staff to support student success. Qualifications: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA, SLP Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) completion, or eligibility to provide school-based SLP services. Experience working with elementary-aged children and knowledge of individualized education programs (IEPs). Ability to manage a diverse caseload with varying communication needs. Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with students, staff, and families.
