An opportunity is available for two full-time Special Education Teachers to support elementary students in a dynamic contract role for the current school year. Located in Peterborough, NH, this position serves preschool through 1st-grade students, delivering tailored instruction and case management within an inclusive classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide specialized instruction and support using push-in and pull-out models to meet individual student needs.
Manage a caseload of approximately 25 students, collaborating with general education teachers and support staff.
Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) with fidelity.
Maintain accurate records and communicate progress with families and school personnel.
Foster a positive, engaging learning atmosphere promoting student growth and independence.
Qualifications:
Valid New Hampshire Special Education license (1900) is required.
Experience working with early childhood and elementary students in special education settings.
Ability to effectively manage a full caseload and coordinate services.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Commitment to student-centered instruction and inclusion principles.
