A full-time Sign Language Interpreter position is available to support a K-12 elementary student in a school setting from August 7, 2025, through May 20, 2025. This contract role involves working 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm.

Responsibilities: Provide live sign language interpretation to facilitate communication between student, teachers, and peers throughout the school day. Accompany the student to all activities and classes, ensuring consistent access to instruction and social interaction. Collaborate closely with teachers and support staff to enable smooth communication and understanding. Maintain confidentiality and uphold student privacy in compliance with school policies and regulations. Participate in meetings related to the student's academic and social progress as needed. Qualifications/Experience: Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) with excellent interpretation skills. Experience working directly with K-12 students in educational environments preferred. Ability to travel with the student throughout the school day. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with educators, students, and families. Commitment to supporting the communication needs of students effectively and sensitively.
