Utilize assistive technology and adaptive materials to enhance student engagement and achievement. Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and adjust strategies accordingly. Provide guidance and training to school personnel on best practices for inclusive education. Advocate for the needs and rights of visually impaired students within the educational setting. Qualifications: Certification or licensure as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired. Experience working with children from kindergarten through 12th grade who have visual impairments. Strong knowledge of braille, assistive technologies, and orientation/mobility principles. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive academic environment. Location: Saint Paul, Minnesota This role offers the chance to deliver specialized instruction and support that empowers students with visual impairments to achieve their fullest potential.
