Description

General Description: Ensures on-time delivery to customers, inventory accuracy, and accurate Pre-Series planning to meet customer requirements and inventory targets Monitor & review EDI daily from all Customers Ensures organization and flow of all Pre-Series parts as required Ensures that all required components and raw materials are available to meet Pre-Series plan. Cycle counts KAUFs & WIP parts on a weekly basis to maintain proper Pre-Series inventory levels Maintains MM03 for Pre-Series as required Communicates Pre-Series discrepancies or issues with project managers, customers, planning, purchasing and suppliers as necessary Responsible for Pre-Series shipping to schedule (on time) Support with Pre-Series part runs & shipments, as necessary Reviews customer requirements/ changes daily and processes and expedites accordingly Manages Pre-Series freight in the most cost effective manner Ensures excellent communication with production planning in the event of supply problems Communicate with Planning personnel, Customers, Project Managers, Internal Sales, Logistics Update Customers directly of delay or shipping issues for all Pre-Series parts Expectations are 24/7 availability by cell phone to answer calls during off shifts. May require off-hours written responses to customers, suppliers, project managers, tool shops, etc Assembles products for shipments in time to meet delivery schedules as needed Must be certified or able to certify in the operation of forklifts and other material handling equipment Must understand and apply correct work instructions and procedures according to IATF and company standards Other duties as assigned by management Qualifications

Work experience requirements:

Experience in Logistics including but not limited to material planning, inventory, warehousing, material handling, shipping and receiving domestic and international, and packaging components preferably in the automotive industry. Excellent computer skills, including experience with SAP Experience with IATF standards for quality control including detailed instructions and procedures Experience communicating directly with customers for coordination and problem resolution Experience with the operation of forklifts and other material handling equipment Education Requirements:

Bachelors degree preferred or relevant equivalent experience
