Under general supervision, this position will provide technical knowledge and/or coordinates and monitors the delivery of radiological services for adult and pediatric outpatients. The incumbent operates various types of x-ray equipment, Dexa equipment, and auxiliary equipment to provide diagnostic images for diagnostic interpretations by a radiologist. Quality of work performed is approved or reviewed by the quality control technologist, chief technologist or radiologist.

Qualifications
Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) CA Fluoroscopic Permit required 6 months after hire date American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR Certification or UC Davis Health CPR No minimum education requirements No minimum work experience requirements Knowledge and ability to operate imaging equipment to provide quality images; ability to adapt to new programs and equipment upgrades Knowledge of information and techniques needed to diagnose and treat human injuries, diseases, and deformities Knowledge of physical principles, laws, and applications related to imaging and radiology systems Competent in archiving, retrieving and exceptions handling with the PACS system Ability to administer CPR Ability to follow rules, protocols, policies and procedures with good judgement Critical thinking, problem solving, and ability to handle high patient volume in a high-pressure department Ability to input and retrieve data in Radiology Information System (RIS) and maintain privacy
