Executive Assistant
Brooklyn, NY 75 - 100k Ournot-for-profit client is seeking a sharp, proactive
Executive Assistant
to provide high-level administrative support to the Executive Director. This is a
traditional EA role
requiring strong time management, organization, and the ability to anticipate needs. The ideal candidate will handle executive scheduling, coordinate board meetings, manage logistics for events, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations. If you're a
"doer"
who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes initiative, and doesn’t require hand-holding, we want to hear from you! Key Responsibilities: Manage the Executive Director’s
calendar, scheduling, and daily administrative tasks .
Organize and moderate
monthly board meetings
(9-10 times per year, remote option available). Responsible for
taking and maintaining meeting minutes .
Assist with
event planning and coordination , including food arrangements and logistics.
Ensure smooth
relationship management
with key stakeholders.
Stay
proactive
by tracking important deadlines, preparing documents, and keeping the Executive Director informed.
Maintain
confidentiality
and handle sensitive information with discretion.
What We’re Looking For:

– someone sharp, organized, and efficient. Detail-oriented
– accuracy in scheduling, meeting notes, and task execution. Proactive & takes initiative
– anticipates needs and follows through without reminders. Strong communication skills
– able to interact professionally with executives and board members. Tech-savvy
– comfortable using office software and digital tools. Preferred Qualifications (Not Required): Experience in
nonprofit organizations
is a plus.
Background in
school administration or secretarial roles
is valuable.
